People in East Haven began carrying out beach cleans in 1992.

In 2013 they realised that an annual beach clean was simply not enough to protect our beautiful landscape and marine environment.  A community led litter summit was held in 2017 and  clean up activities now take place every day of the year.  East Haven Together  works in partnership with many other individuals and organisations across Scotland to care for the environment and  create a clean green landscape which is protected for future generations.
