Residents were out undertaking maintenence work and staining Eric's bridge at the weekend. The bridge was designed and built by residents in 2014 out of recycled materials after the original bridge was accidently removed in 2012 when the new coastal path was built. Popular with adults and children alike the bridge is much loved by local residents. However, it does take a battering from the harsh salt winds during the winter due to it's exposed position. It was hard days work but as the saying goes, many hands make light work and it is rewarding to see the bridge restored once again and ready to face another winter.
