Britain in Bloom Finals

We are delighted to announce that East Haven is one of five locations in Scotland to have been put forward to the Britain in Bloom finals in 2018. It seems almost unimaginable that our coastal village could have achieved this honour in such a short period. After all, it was only 2014 when we first entered the Beautiful Scotland competition. At that time, many people thought we were too ambitious and that we couldn't possibly compete with other towns and villages across Scotland. However, we reached out and gained the support of many amazing people from both within and outwith the village. This led us on a journey where we achieved Gold in addition to several other awards of which we are very proud. However, it's not just about winning awards. Participating in the Beautiful Scotland competition strengthens communities and helps to create safe and attractive environments for people to live and visit.
