Anne and Ian have spent a lot of time turning over the ground at the back of the Bothy and adding compost from our own compost heap. Today the tatties were planted in one half of the ground and in the other half we will sow wild flower seeds. If that wasn't enough, Ian dug over the bed infront of Long Row where we will plant Senecio (Brachyglottis) which is a hardy coastal plant. Others of us were weeding round at the heritage point and looking after our various planters. Of course the best bit was sitting out at the back of the bothy afterwards drinking coffee and eating home made gronola bars courtesy of Morag and Carol. Great morning!
