Chilly day in the Ha'en
It was a bright but freezing cold morning in the Ha'en today following a night of howling wind and snow showers. So cold, that the snow is still lying above the high tide mark on the beach. It's a lovely time of year to watch the changing light and the way in which it reflects off the water. However, one requires a full set of thermals and waterproofs before venturing out as the weather can change quickly and the cold is penetrating. Despite this, hardy photographers such as Steph Wilke and Bob Gray can still be spotted out and about waiting for the perfect moment to capture the light or a coastal bird. The photograph opposite belongs to neither Steph or Bob being just an everyday photo taken with my iphone but I couldn't resist trying to capture something of this very cold but beautiful morning.
