Walking and Cycling in East Haven and Panbride

This little part of Angus has an amazing heritage and a stunning coast line but little information is available for visitors to the area. We have therefore written something ourselves about walking and cycling in East Haven and Panbride. This walk begins in East Haven and continues along the coastal path towards Carnoustie, up through Craigmill Den and onto historical Panbride. We hope that locals and visitors alike will enjoy learning more about hidden Angus and our important heritage and wild life. You can pick up a copy in Carnoustie Library or at the 'Wee Gallery at the Heritage Point in East Haven'. If you would like us to post out a leaflet to you please contact us via this web-site

Celebrating 20 years of National Cycle Route 1

This is a photo of our lovely Cairn which was built by Ron Brown and others to celebrate 20 years of National Cycle route 1. This beautiful section of the coastal path is part of the Coast & Castles North route from Edinburgh to Aberdeen, on Route 1 of the National Cycle Network. Route 1 stretches up the east coast from Dover to Shetland and is also part of EuroVelo 12, The North Sea Cycle Route, a 6,200 km loop linking all the countries bordering the North Sea - Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, England and Scotland.
