I was out this afternoon and when I returned somebody had left a couple of bags of spring bulbs for the gardens. If you are reading this - thank you very much. It seems that this weekend will mark a change in the weather with lower temperatures and wind and rain forecast. Our bedding plants have been outstanding but they will probably not recover after the weekend so we will remove them and prepare the ground for planting spring bulbs. Managed to watch Beechgrove Garden earlier and Jim was stressing that there is still lots of work to be done in the autumn as we prepare the garden for spring. We have our work cut out I think!
