Blessed with a beautiful day for the judging
Well..... we were blessed with a beautiful day for the judging and everybody went the extra mile to make sure it went well. Rod McLeod even cycled in from Carnoustie for us at 8am to do an early morning review of all the pathways to make sure that no litter had blown in overnight. The Greater Yellow Rattle also obliged by retaining a few blooms so we could show "Beautiful Scotland' judges, Kate Stevenson and Julia Cordon our natural heritage. Within the village sqaure people worked away as normal in the garden and had a quick chat with Julia and Kate. So we did our best and spoke about our plans for the future so I think they could see that there is more to come! We will now have to wait until 5th September at the Dundee Flower Show to find out how we've done!
