A sneak preview of some of the completed Heritage Bunting. These panels have been completed by members of Carnoustie Art Society. From left to right - the beach with a seal bobbing about in the water, second panel is knitted and stitched depicting smokies and third shows our gorgeous red poppies. The fourth panel is painted by an 82 year old lady who can remember the fisherwives from the Angus coast selling their fish in baskets in Bankfoot near Perth.
There is still plenty of time for you to get involved and make a panel of Heritage Bunting. We will stitch it together on a piece of tape towards the end of end of March. The Bunting will then be ready for display at our Maritime and Heritage Exhibition to be opened in Carnoustie Library on 5th April.
