As you are aware we have been awarded funding to develop a Maritime and Heritage Point which will be formally opened at our summer event on 23rd August 2014. One exciting aspect of the development is that people with an interest in East Haven can be involved in deciding on the content of the interpretation boards. You may have already have given this some thought. For example, your interest may be in the history of the village itself or some more specific aspect, for example, the fishing heritage of the village. Others maybe interested in the flora and fauna of our coastline or the marine and wild life.
Whatever your interest we would welcome your ideas and invite you to a meeting on Tuesday 28th January at 2.30pm in the Panmure Centre, Kinloch Street, Carnoustie.
We are also very keen to hear any views from the children in the village who would be welcome to join the meeting after school that day.
