Angus Council Community Grant Award
We are delighted to have received a grant of £1,000 from Angus Council's Community Grant fund towards our event on 27th June. We are holding a Taste of Angus Cycle on 27th June to encourage people to get out on their bikes or on foot to enjoy our wonderful coastal path. As this is also Scotland’s year of food and drink we thought it would be a great idea to encourage people to taste the very best of what Angus has to offer. A taste of the stunning landscape, a taste of the outdoors and on arrival in East Haven a taste of Angus food. We are going to hold a big picnic between 10am and 4pm when people will have the opportunity to try some delicious local produce. The community grant from Angus Council will enable residents to sell picnic boxes containing tasty Angus bites at a very modest cost and local suppliers will provide water and fruit juices. Fresh fruit will be provided from Scryne Farm. We hope hundreds of people will take the ooportunity to walk or cycle to the Ha'en and appreciate our wonderful location.
